USEFUL TIPS FOR VISITORS

1. The weather is generally hot and humid all year round. The temperature ranges from 25°C to 33°C.

2. Most appropriate clothing for the jungle are loose fitting cotton long sleeved shirts and long pants to help keep the insect at bay.

3. A jacket or cardigan is handy for early morning excursions.

4. Wear comfortable boots or sneakers.

5. Bring along a torchlight for night walk and Gua Buta (Dark Caves) explorations.

6. Insect repellent and first aid kit are recommended.

7. ‘Take nothing but photographs Leave nothing but footprints’. All visitors are reminded to preserve and must not harm Kenong’s flora and fauna. Please keep litter and noise pollution to the minimum.

8. Please bring along swimming attire if you wish to participate in the water sports such as swimming, rafting and etc.

9. If you are a keen bird watcher, a handy binocular is a must!

10. The chalet is a budget accommodation whereby personal items like toothbrush & paste ,towel, shampoo, soap, & etc are not supplied.Thus, you must bring this item along.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

TOUR MEMBERS ARE DEEMED TO HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED THE FOLLOWINGS:-

BOOKING
Reservations must be made early through TUAH TRAVEL & TOURS (M) SDN BHD or your favorite travel agent at least 30 days in advance. A non-refundable deposit of RM50.00 per person is payable upon confirmation. Full balance of payment must be affected at least 14 days before departure.
Late booking to date of travel up to 14 days in advance will be accepted subject to space availability and should be accompanied by full payment upon confirmation.

CANCELLATION
For any change or cancellation of booking within 14 days of departure, the following fee per person shall apply:-
Less than 14 days before departure date- deposit forfeited
Within 14 days of departure date - 25% of tour fare
Within 7 days of departure date - 50% of tour fare
Less than 24 hours or ‘no show’ - 100% of tour fare

REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICES
After commencement of travel, no refund, in full or part, will be entertained for services included in the itinerary which are not utilized.

PACKAGE PRICE EXCLUDES
Meals not specified in the itineraries, laundry, room service, cable and telephone charges, tips, exess baggage, airport taxes, liquor, insurance and all other items of personal nature not specified in the our website.

Kenong Rimba Park is located on the West of Taman Negara. It covers of
128km and has unique chanin of caves e.g Batu Tinggi, which has many
species of wild orchids and birds.

DAY 1
Arriving at Kuala Lipis, Pahang
Upon registration, proceed to Batu 9 from Kuala Lipis for a boat ride
to Tanjung Kiara Climbing activities to the campsite by going through Gua
Batu Tangga, Tangkup and Telahup. Lunch prior to cave exploration - Gua
Batu, Harimau, Bumbun dan Hijau.
Night-walking around camp site after dinner.

DAY 2
Commencing with expedition to Lata Tujuh after breakfast
Trekking through the world's oldest rainforest and learning about
medicinal plants.

DAY 3
After breakfast, departing to Tanjung Kiara for a boat ride to Batu 9
Overland transfer by train to Kuala Lipis.
